How long does the installation take?
A typical installation of a basic system which consists of 3 door/window sensors and a motion detector usually takes about 2 hours. If you are protecting every opening in your home, around 2,000 square feet, this will last approximately four to eight hours, depending on your equipment needs.
Why should I have a home security?
A home purchase is one of the biggest investments you will ever make. Home security provides you with peace of mind, and adds value to your home.
Do I need to be present at the time of the installation?
No, it would be helpful if questions arise for you to clear them up, but otherwise you should be there for some basic instructions at the completion.
How do I save money on my insurance?
Once the alarm system is installed you can provide us with the name of your insurance carrier and we will send them a Certificate of Completion. Insurance companies have been known to give up to a 20% discount.
Prior to the installation, prepare a list of questions or concerns about your home. Relate these to your I.A.G. Security consultant in advance to ensure that such matters will be properly addressed and that any special arrangements can be made if necessary.
